Voxer iOS 7 Update Troubleshooting Tips

Dearest Voxers on iOS –

We’ve received a number of support tickets from our iOS Community regarding issues with Voxer after updating to iOS 7. There have been reports of the app crashing and the microphone not recording audio. If you or your friends on Voxer are experiencing these issues, please try the following steps:

1. Enable Voxer with your Microphone: With the new iOS 7 update, audio apps now must be enabled with your microphone in order to record. To enable Voxer with your microphone, go to your iPhone settings > Privacy > Microphone and enable Voxer.

2. Update to the latest version of Voxer by tapping here.

3. Reboot your device: After updating to iOS 7, it’s recommended that you restart your phone. Restarting your phone adjusts some of your settings that may have been disrupted with the software update. Rebooting your device will often fix the issue with the app crashing.

We are working on a fix in the next upcoming release of Voxer for iOS.
